Personal data we process
Nijdra Group B.V. processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself.
Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect information from website visitors website visitors who are below the age of 16. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardians. However, we are unable to check whether a visitor is over the age of 16. Therefore, we encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent the collection of data without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without that permission, please contact us via [email protected] and we will remove this information.
Collection and use of personal data of applicants, temporary/payroll employees, interns and employees
Please note that we will collect and use the personal data you provide to us because this is necessary for the completion of the application procedure or to conclude and execute an employment contract/internship/employment contract (if any). In addition, certain personal data is required for the fulfilment and implementation of provisions of the collective labour agreement applicable to us. We also collect and use your personal data to comply with certain legal obligations. These legal obligations relate, for example, to the determination and liability of taxes and employee contributions.
Given this necessity, you are obliged to provide us with the personal data required for this purpose. If you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, we will not be able to go through a job application process with you, enter into and perform an employment contract/internship agreement/employment contract (if any) with you or fulfil our legal obligations.
If you are a (payroll) employee or intern, we use your data for the drafting, execution and termination of the employment and internship contract or employment relationship. This includes:
- Handling human resources;
- Determining and paying salary, allowances and other monetary amounts; and
- Determining and paying any taxes, contributions and other tax obligations on your behalf as an employee or intern.
If you are a job applicant, we will use your data to communicate with you about the course of the application procedure, the assessment of your suitability for a position that is or may become vacant and the possible settlement of any expenses you have incurred.
If you are a temporary employee, we will use the data we obtain from the temporary employment agency to assess your suitability for a position that is or may become vacant and for the performance of the temporary employment contract.
For what purpose and on what grounds we process personal data
Nijdra Group B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Handling your payment
- Sending our newsletter and/or advertising leaflet
- Calling or e-mailing you if necessary to carry out our services
- Informing you of changes to our services and products
- To deliver goods and services to you
- Nijdra Group B.V. also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.
Direct marketing
If you have given us permission or if we have a legitimate interest to do so, we will retain and use the personal data you have provided us with in order to inform you personally by e-mail of our existing and new products and services in the future and, optionally, to make you an offer for these. Automated decision-making
Nijdra Group B.V does not make automated processing decisions about things that may have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions made by computer programs or systems without intervention of a person (such as an employee of Nijdra Group B.V.). Nijdra Group B.V. uses the following computer programs or systems:
Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Access and associated storage options for e-mails and other files.
- ISAH
- Vantage
- Protime
- Epicor
We have a legitimate interest in using the above computer programs and systems because their use is necessary for our business operations.
How long we store personal data
Nijdra Group B.V. does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realise the goals for which your data is collected. We adhere to the following storage periods for the following (categories) of personal data:
Application data will be kept for up to four weeks after the end of the application procedure, unless the applicant indicates that the data may be kept longer, in which case the data will be kept for up to 1 year after the end of the application procedure. This data is kept for the purpose of the application process.
Personal data will be kept for up to two years after the end of the agreement in order to perform the agreement and comply with legal obligations around the agreement.
Data we collect via the contact form is kept for a maximum of four weeks, unless there is reason to keep the data for longer.
Fiscal data is kept for up to 7 years to comply with our legal obligation.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Nijdra Group B.V. does not sell your data to third parties. However, it is possible that we may pass on your personal data to other parties. These other parties may be government bodies, but also parties who perform work on our behalf or parties to whom we are obliged to provide data in connection with the performance of the (employment) agreement. This involves the following parties:
- The Tax and Customs Administration;
- The UWV;
- Our health and safety service/occupational physician;
- The Netherlands Labour Authority;
- The pension fund;
- The absence insurer;
- Our payroll administrator.
Sometimes, providing your data to another party will be necessary to comply with the law, as is the case with transfers to the Tax and Customs Administration, the UWV, the occupational health and safety service/occupational physician, the pension fund and the Netherlands Labour Authority.
In other cases, the transfer is necessary to perform the (employment) agreement with you. When providing your data to our absence insurer, we have a legitimate interest, namely that it allows us to claim insurance benefits.
In addition, there are parties who carry out work on our behalf. We have a legitimate interest in this transfer of your data. This work is outsourced because of (among other things) the knowledge and expertise possessed by our payroll administrator. To perform the (employment) agreement with you, the payroll administrator needs your personal data.
With companies that process your data on your behalf, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. Nijdra Group B.V. remains responsible for these processing operations.
Your personal data is also shared with our subsidiaries and sister companies to enable us to carry out our work and ensure the best possible service.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
Nijdra Group B.V. uses only technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not invade your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is saved on your computer, tablet or smartphone upon the first visit to this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remember your preference settings. They also allow us to optimise our website. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it does not store cookies anymore. Access, correct or delete data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Nijdra Group B.V., and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request with us to send you the personal data we have of you to you or another organisation you specify in a computer file.
You can submit a request for access, correction, deletion, or data transfer of your personal information or a request for withdrawal of your permission or an objection to the processing of your personal information to [email protected].
To verify that it was you who made the request, we will ask you to include a copy of your ID. Obscure your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible and no later than within four weeks.
