For quite some time, we have been working for a client that specialises in X-ray equipment for material testing by X-ray diffraction. Early during the design process of this machine, we sat down with the client and contributed our experience in manufacturing and assembly to the creation of this progressive device. Our structural engineers were able to immediately indicate what could and could not be manufactured. This resulted in a shorter time-to-market and also minimised development costs for the client. The production operation is carried out at a very high technical level. The heart of this module consists of an axis system run in-house, which is then ground and assembled with a maximum clearance of 5 µm. Finally, the module is fully assembled and 100% tested.
